Challenge 3 - wednesday

Well, I guess they opened up the first few levels of the competition without requiring me to finish challenge 2, yay! I wasn't expecting so many to be in here. Pasted image 20220904181226 So I am getting really tired of fucking around with this shitty Flare-VM windows shit. I am just going to roll that vm back to the snapshot I was using for my OSCP BOF development, and start using the SIFT Workstation provided by SANS. They have an OVA image I can just dump onto my external and import into VirtualBox.

Ran strings on the mydude.exe binary while waiting for SIFT to download. Nothing interesting popped out at me. Binary does not appear to be packed/obfuscated at all.

This binary has an MZ header and does appear to be a 32-bit PE.
